Sala has been the clan's storyteller for many, many years and has the honor of performing with the Hat of Eggs and Bones. The Storyteller acts as an oral historian, an entertainer, and the bridge between birth and death. They help the world make sense and offer knowledge and comfort when needed.

Cikti are highly intelligent and are trained to learn routines for specific stories. It's common for storytellers to own one or two cikti for each routine, and they work for tiny fish.

Since they work so closely with each other. The bond between the storytellers and their cikti is very tight. They live in the storyteller's home like family members, and if you were to go seek council from Sala, you'd most definitely end up staying for a small meal and a play session with her cikti.
