Morty is a Zsalamar space mechanic. In his culture, he's a big deal. He managed to survive an encounter with a flickerjaw snare shark.

Does that somehow make him good at talking with the lady in the cafe? No. No it does not.

One fateful night, Morty was fixing some heavy machinery.

He heard a cough and there she was - sandwich lady! He'd been too nervous to ask her name. She was holding out a bag. When he numbly reached for the bag, she gave his hand a squeeze and smiled at him before leaving.

Hours later, he opened the bag and found his favorite! - fish and ray skin on wheat (with TWO pieces of ray skin).

This Zsalamar boy has got it bad.
